What is TEFL?

TEFL stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which is a certification needed to teach English abroad.

Apart from TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, and TESL are other acronyms used for the same certification.

A TEFL certificate is a basic requirement to teach English abroad, and it is recognized worldwide. Speaking English doesn’t bridge the gap to teaching it effectively. English language schools require specific training and enhanced methodology to ensure that the instructor can teach English effectively as a foreign language. We offer an accredited 120 hours TEFL-TESOL certification course, four-week, in-class certification course that provides for a high-quality teaching practicum with actual EFL students. During the training, there are daily study sessions in which trainees learn teaching methodology, classroom management, how to teach accent reduction and interesting grammar classes.

The greater portion of the time is spent on preparing, teaching, and evaluating EFL classes.The teaching-practice students are both visitors and immigrants to an English-speaking country or locals in non-English-speaking areas of the world.

This TEFL-TESOL course gives you the best return on your investment and is perfect for both in-service teachers or for those students who have never taught English before. In-service EFL teachers benefit from the TEFL review and bring their teaching skills up to date.

Our accredited Combined TEFL/TESOL Course connects online with on-site training. First, you study the principles and theories of TEFL/TESOL online at your own pace. After completing the theory segment, you’ll attend one of our training centers for seven days of practical teaching to real EFL/ESL students.

This course is ideal for those employed and can not attend an on-site TEFL/TESOL course but would like to get real teaching practice. As the Combined TEFL/TESOL Course requires only seven days of attendance at a training center, it is also more suited to those who cannot attend an on-site TEFL/TESOL course for four weeks.

The combined course features the same components as an on-site course and results in 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification. The course comes with full career-support services.
